When I graduated from college and moved a few hours away from my hometown, I knew that I would need to look for someone immediately and continue my chiropractic care on a monthly basis. As Dr.McCowin took Mom’s medical history, she explained that the pain is sometimes more intense when sitting, sneezing or coughing. She said that sciatica can occur suddenly or develop slowly. Sometimes, patients report feeling weakness, numbness, or the sensation of burning or tingling in the leg or toes.

Mom nodded her head “yes” to each bit of information as the doctor spoke. She had been feeling all of these symptoms and was excited to put her care in Dr.McCowin’s hands, even if it meant driving a couple of hours, from my hometown to Costa Mesa, in order to continue treatment.
